18 Fun Thanksgiving Crafts For Kids

18 Fun Thanksgiving Crafts for Kids | myruralmommy.com #Thanksgiving #crafts #diy

I’ll be the first one to admit that I am NOT a crafty mommy. I’ve never been good at them and have accumulated more crafting fails throughout the years than I’d like to admit. However, things have slowly started to change, partly due to having children but mostly due to my decision to give in to the allure of Pinterest!

There is seriously a craft out there for even the most craft challenged of us. One of my favorite things to pin (especially during the holiday season) is fun crafts for the kids! Since becoming a stay at home mom over a year ago I’ve come to the realization that not only can crafting with the kids be fun, it is also a great way to pass the time while keeping them engaged in something other than the television.

Now that we’re just weeks away from Thanksgiving the turkey, pilgrim, and pumpkin pins have been aplenty. My girls have been busy creating and having a blast. The traditional hand print turkey that I remember making as a child has grown and evolved into so much more! So today I’m sharing just a few of my favorite fun Thanksgiving crafts for kids….18 of them to be exact!
